Lauren and Boyd’s wedding was not about the fluffy, over-the-top decor that is the stuff national wedding magazines and blogs are made of. Nor was it anything traditional. But what it was was the quintessential essence of what love, marriage and family is about, something that no magazine or advertorial could possibly convey with photos alone. I met Ashley through her beautiful family , who are also event industry colleagues (and now, quite honestly, family) of mine. She always said she wanted me to be her wedding coordinator if she ever got married and even when she got engaged, I told her that I did not want her to feel obligated in case she would rather work with someone else.
