At Santa Barbara Wine Country Weddings & Events, we have a required “Full Service Caterer” list from which our clients must hire. These professionals already adhere to service basics in producing weddings and events. They know that the caterer’s job is more than just to provide good food. They are the backbone of a successful event: from coordinating rentals to set up, breakdown, proper clean-up, timing, and so much more. Plus, they provide one of the most essential elements of any good caterer, and that is the element of pre – event day planning and communication with a dedicated representative that will be with you in the planning stages of your event. The latter is not always reflected on a catering proposal, and not paying attention to this can cost one dearly “day of”, or in unexpected charges from the sub-standard caterer (or other service providers who have to do extra work to accommodate what the caterer should have been doing to begin with).Read More >>
I have worked with Pure Joy Catering Operations Manager Patrick Ward for 16 years. He has developed a fan base over the years for his warm heart and dedication to flawless weddings and events in Santa Barbara and its surrounding areas. You see, Patrick takes weddings and events personally and he is a pleaser with a love of life that makes him shine. I don’t think I have ever seen him frustrated, lose his temper or complain once. And in our industry, that’s unheard of. But enough of the personal side of Patrick, as you will get to read more about him below.Read More >>
One of my favorite things about this Santa Barbara wine country wedding at Lincourt Winery was the elegance and multi-cultural aspect my clients and their families brought to this wedding day. Virtually all wineries have an elegance about them, but Lincourt Winery is special – it used to be a dairy farm and the old yellow house that is now the tasting room was an old Sears Craftsman House kit that overlooks the vineyards below and the red barn adjacent. It oozes country charm. But my favorite thing about Lincourt Winery weddings? So little decor is needed. The backdrop is already set with vines and in the distance, the Santa Ynez mountains and beautiful sweeping blue skies cradle Lincourt Winery in their arms. And don’t even get me started about having a wedding at this charming location under a full moon. It is simply other-worldly, if you are lucky enough to have that epic experience.
I had the honor of working with a talented, smart attorney-in – training bride Becky and her already- attorney fiance, Imran. Becky’s parents areRead More >>
When my phone rang and the sweet voice on the other end said, “Hi Kerry Lee, this is Mira – I was a bridesmaid in one of your client’s weddings last year and I would love to talk to you about being my wedding coordinator for my own wedding at Heartstone Ranch,” I was elated and didn’t have to think twice.
This incredibly talented young woman, also working on her Master’s Degree while planning her wedding, hailed from the South. Her exotic gorgeousness is a blend of her Eastern Indian heritage and intelligent, kind, gentle ways. When I met her fiance, I could see why he was so smitten and dedicated to her. And Steven was pretty special too.
Mira and Steven chose Heartstone Ranch because of her love of horses. And this love shone throughout all the touches she did: from herRead More >>
There are so many fantastic love stories out there. When KRAZ 105.9 FM decided to partner with me again on a wedding giveaway in the middle of a nation-wide economic crisis to benefit a deserving engaged couple and give them a wedding they could not otherwise afford, I knew it was perfect timing. I also knew the ideal event supply partner team to pull in for this production. Not only would they be the best in their field, but all “heart”, truly wanting to make a dream come true for one couple.Read More >>
Santa Barbara Wine Country. An incredible location set in the midst of lush green vineyards. There are few moments in life which could ever be scripted and timed as beautifully as this was. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so we will let the photos below speak for the story of this gorgeous and epic evening.Read More >>
One of the questions I am frequently asked when I am interviewed for publications is how I decribe this incredible region we call Santa Barbara’s wine country, the Santa Ynez Valley. I am proud to say my response description has been quoted and is now associated with this area: “rustic elegance” and “rustic sophistication”. A Santa Barbara wine country wedding includes winery weddings, ranch weddings, private estate weddings and so much more. But not every venue is created equal. Just because a venue says it does weddings or is pretty doesn’t mean that they are truly capable of handling everything an event brings with it. And further, does not mean the staff is proficient on the incredible details and customer service involved in making sure the wedding goes off seamlessly. Today, however, I would like to highlight one of my most popular wedding venues in Santa Barbara’s wine country:Read More >>
