The pricing at Four Seasons offers value for what is received.  You won’t have to think about a thing being taken care of, how to time your food and beverage courses, if the set up is as you intended, etc.   Every detail is tended to with care and love and each sumptuous course arrives fresh and as it was intended to be experienced.  The Four Seasons offers something very unique that many catered events for large groups simply cannot offer for those who desire it: “Tableside Choice” for dinner.  This means that your guests are given a choice between three decadent entrees and they get to choose on the spot which one they prefer.  To do this is an amazing coordination of timing between the Banquet Captain and servers, as well as the Wedding Coordinator, who maintains and backs up this timing with all the other event vendors so that everyone can shine and produce a seamless event for the couple. “Day of”, your Four Seasons Event Sales Manager will be present to liaison between you, your Wedding Coordinator and the Four Seasons Team to make sure everything is as planned and discussed.  This is not an “extra” luxury, this is standard service practice for any event and Four Seasons recognizes that this touch should never be “optional” but a requisite to any seamless event.

Finally, when I say the Four Seasons tends to every detail with “love”, let me tell you how that translates to the minutiae- oftentimes things my clients will never see – as they are the “behind-the-scenes” details that lift and carry the event:  each server on the banquet staff makes it their personal goal to make every request from guest, client (and even vendor) come true.  Each staff person takes pride in their service legacy, and this is not something that just “happens” at any event anywhere.  Banquet servers gently removed the glass lovebird wedding cake topper and cleaned them and returned them to me all wrapped up in a linen cloth to protect them before I packed them up;  when the cake knife accidentally broke when the bride and groom cut the cake, one of the servers took it upon himself to go repair the knife and set it before we packed it back up again; the bride’s and groom’s personal crystal toasting flutes were washed with care before I packed them up and returned in a linen cloth that cradled them.  Love is in the details and these are details that many clients may not know about at the end of the event, but are the very foundation of the Four Seasons Biltmore Santa Barbara Wedding experience.

Planner’s notes/highlights:  Marissa and Curt’s soft pastel colors were expressed through every detail of their imageevent: from floral design,  programs, seating charts, menus, favors and more.  To further extend her gorgeous florals, we repurposed her ceremony altar arrangements on either side of the fireplace in El Mar, where dancing would take place later in the evening. We also used her bridesmaids bouquets to place on the mantel of the fireplace.  DJ and MC Bouquet Sound provided impeccable music , music coordination and MC’ing from the ceremony all the way through the end of the evening, and we cannot stress enough the importance of a true professional in this regard: someone who knows how to read the crowd, works with other vendors well, timing issues and keeps the vibe “up and fun” all night.  Plus, Bouquet Sound offered a “FairyTale First Dance“.  Ever heard of this? We hadn’t,  until this wedding. Make sure you contact them and ask about it .  It made Marissa and Curt’s First Dance incredible personal, it was a surprise to the guests and it was very emotional and meaningful.

Special Touches: Custom-Monogrammed Corn Hole games on the El Mar Lawn during cocktail hour, overlooking the ocean and Santa Barbara Channel Islands;  Candy Station; Complemetary-Colored Favor Candles at each placesetting; Wedding Programs that doubled as fans; Swarovski crystal Converse shoes with pink laces for the flowergirls, and more…..
