Lauren and Brian chose the Santa Ynez Mission to exchange vows for their wedding ceremony. For their reception, they chose a location that had been a family vacation tradition with Lauren’s family for years: Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort. The Sycamore Room, which is adjacent creekside to lush trees and the main entrance of the ranch, offers tranquility with soft , plentiful lawn space, all with the sound of a soft creek running nearby for cocktail hour. Inside, for dinner, guests enjoyed a cozy roaring fire in the river rock fireplace and sounds of one of the best bands ever that knew how to get guests out of their seats and dancing. Alisal Chef Pascal provided a sumptuous meal for guests , including: Grilled Certified Angus Beef Tenderloin, Horseradish Butter, Grilled Free Range Chicken Breast with Mustard Tarragon Sauce, Sauteed Cumin-Crusted Alaskan Halibut with Pico De Gallo Beurre Blanc on a bed of Shitake Mushroom and Spinach with Jasmine Rice and more. The ranch also afforded dozens of picture-perfect backdrops for this sweet couple: from vistas of wine country hillside, the famous Alisal drive/entrance to overlooking Alisal Lake and the beloved Historic Old Adobe (where special private events can also be booked).
Special Touches: A life-sized wedding invitation embellished with lights around the border | A “Dog of Honor” with complementary bow tie that went with the groomsmen | Late Night Snacks, “ranch/comfort style”, including Cheeseburger Sliders, Fries and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
