One of my favorite images: Mother of the Bride Hannah-Beth glowing as her daughter makes her approach to the altar with her father.

When Jennie approached me about being her Wedding Coordinator and I discovered that she considered herself like the character Charlotte from the popular series “Sex and The City” and that she was every bit a charming as the lovely Charlotte and had smarts to go with it,  I knew this would be a wonderful working relationship.  I later found out that the Father of the Bride is a beloved Judge in our community and that the Mother of the Bride, Hannah Beth Jackson (now a California State Senator) has been a respected prosecutor and actively involved in our local and state-wide community for years.  This was a very loving, involved and connected family and it was an honor to have been chosen as their Wedding Coordinator.

While Jennie and Kris originally were planning on their wedding being at the private home of a friend, when we looked at the big picture, the amount of work it would take to transform a private home into the wedding and reception they desired didn’t end up providing them maximum benefit and versatility, and so they opted to host their wedding and reception at the lovely Montecito Country Club (a Ty Warner-owned property).  This gorgeous site offers panoramic views of the stunning Santa Barbara coastline for both ceremony and reception and is fully-equipped for full service events.

My line of work is so rewarding:  clients arrive strangers and depart friends.  I am honored that long after the wedding, Jennie and Kris continued to stay in touch, and I was included in an invitation a few years later to the baby shower for the arrival of their first child.  Now that is an honor.

Special Touches: Signature Cocktail “The Santa Barbara Sunset” (they got married just before sunset and guests enjoyed the ocean view and sunset as they sipped this cocktail);  Sign-in Table included photos and special personal items belonging to their parents- and loved ones who had passed on – as a loving tribute;  Table Numbers featured the bride and groom as they were at that particular age (see photo below); Gobo Projected Monogram of the couple’s initials projected on the walls above their sweetheart table;
