img_6513There are plenty of private ranches on which to celebrate nuptials on the Central Coast.  But when one requires elite privacy as well as an extraordinary experience for all their guests in a historical setting with world-class service from a seasoned hospitality venue, there is no other choice than Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort.

Nestled in the heart of Santa Barbara’s wine country, the Santa Ynez Valley, Alisal Ranch has been excelling in hospitality and making memories for guests since the 1940s, when the first generations of today’s loyal clientele first started arriving.  Most likely many did not know at that time that their descendants would continue to make Alisal a family tradition for many generations to come.  It is because of this that the ranch requires a buy-out of the property when a wedding is hosted there.   Because of its unique nature (ensuring that all guests staying there will not be inconvenienced by all the dynamics that go with producing weddings), as well as understanding that all overnight guests at Alisal actually buy into a package that includes nightly dinner as well as a morning breakfast ride to a cowboy cookout sumptuous buffet, brides and grooms quickly learn that by hosting their wedding at Alisal, they are also gifting their guests with an incredible experience independent of their wedding.  Plus, the privacy it affords the couple, their family and guests can be a necessary comfort and allows the ranch to focus on incredibly personalized service.

img_6548Cassity and Matt decided to host their wedding ceremony at Creekside (one of the most lush and romantic locations down on the main ranch), and then offered guests a beverage as they boarded hay trucks for a 20 minute slow and easy ride through the country hills and by the lake up to the Historic Old Adobe for a celebration under the stars. This over a century-old Adobe has amazing history and one truly feels that they have stepped back in time with the quietude and the quantity of stars that are able to be viewed with the naked eye.  The special lighting that Bella Vista provided only enhanced the architecture and canopying trees, which cradled the event in soft tones and warm glow all night.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so we will allow the images below to speak for themselves in conveying the magic glow of this celebration, which is so evident in the newlyweds, their guests, and the special touches they put into their wedding.  And P.S:  another benefit to hosting your wedding at Alisal Ranch are all the picture-perfect backdrops on which you can take a photographer’s safari, providing you with stunning images for a lifetime (don’t forget the “requisite” tree-lined driveway entrance shot to the ranch – it is a staple in all wedding photographs for generations)!
